Artistic Heroes

Right now I really admire David Choe's work. He uses every type of medium you can think of.

I also really like Dag. I have absolutely no clue how he does his work, but it's really cool to look at.

Mark Ryden's work strikes me for some reason. I think it's because his work is very disturbing and demented.

Ashley wood has really interesting style. She can go from realistic, to cartoon-y, to impressionist. It's nuts.

Rob Carroll's work is appealing to me because it is very free and wild. I also love the bright colors.

I've been considering the idea of different "eras" for my concentration. I haven't made my mind up, but it is the best idea I've come up with so far. Either that, or "the world through my senile grandma's eyes." Any other ideas? I was also thinking "pin up girls" would be fun as well. If you steal my ideas...i might have to grind your bones to make my paint.
